Sole Mate

by A Daily Dose Of Glamour

Im starting to define my 20’s & 30’s in the following way; 20’s Franco Sarto, 30’s Vince Camuto. Yes, shoes. Always shoes. Who says you can’t define the stages in your life by the shoes you wore? I’ve forgotten my early years though. 10 and under I wore jellies like they were going out of style (funny enough my 4 year old niece is following in my footsteps), my junior high years were high top sneakers (the horror), and all throughout high school I slipped in and out of my favorite penny loafers and converse without appreciating the style clash between the two (preppy vs punk?? at least back then anyway…) Luckily as I progress in age my tastes in shoes are improving (still miss my jellies though). My last few shoe purchases all have the same theme… Vince Camuto. I feel as if I have found my shoe soul mate, or at least a mate for my soles. Vince Camuto shoes are like the comfortable younger L.A.M.B sister, still very sexy but not needing to push the vertical boundaries like some designers do. Plus at 5’8, almost 5’9 I really don’t need the height.
