It is SO important to be aware of what we put onto (and therefore into) our bodies. So often we feel we must sacrifice health for beauty, but thankfully there are many amazing beauty companies offering cleaner, greener & healthier products. Way back when I began my vegan journey (full disclosure; these days im about 85% vegan, but keep striving each day to get back to 100%!) I overhauled my beauty routine and swapped up each product for a purer alternative. The longest standing products that I continue to use are my beloved Priti NYC Soy Nail Polish Remover, and of course every single color ever created by RGB Cosmetics (honestly if one could have a nail polish soul mate, RGB is mine). I also love that my affection for simplicity and understated beauty is echoed in RGB’s most popular line HIPPxRGB, the nail foundation love child between Jenna Hipp (green celeb manicurist) & RGB Cosmetics. The nude nail trend has been rediscovered as well by another amazing new find, FLOSS GLOSS, a lovely eco friendly and cruelty free brand. My obsession of the moment is with their take on the nude polish with Tan Lines (a lovely, bronzy nude) & BRITBRIT2000 (a shimmery, glittery perfect nude). Hopefully my strive for pure cosmetics will become yours too!!

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream – The only thing keeping my heel’s smooth and crack free (along with a daily pumice scrub in the tub). Keeps my feet looking smooth and young all year long. $9 – Burt’s Bees

Cle de Peau Beaute Concealor – A ridiculously priced concealor that gives you exactly what you want; creamy, a dream to apply and banishes my hereditary dark cirlces.

YSL Touche Eclat – Cult classic that provides fool proof highlights. Swept across brow bone, nasal labial fold (area where you may see laugh lines) and tip of nose as well as above cupids bow on your lips.

theBalm Staniac Lip & Cheek Stain – The lightest application of this miracle (holy grail) product will give you a perfect, natural flush. I love applying a dab on my lips too for a perfect pout.

Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool – Effortless way to tight line your eyes which gives the illusion of a fuller lash line, without the use of a heavy liner. Lift your eyelid and line the prongs up to the base of your lash.

Shu Uemura Ultimate Natural Mascara – For natural, lush lashes

Seriously losing myself in Grace A Memoir. The uber talented Creative Director of American Vogue caught my attention (as well as the world’s) in The September Issue, a classic documentary about the magazine’s biggest monthly issue (September, of course). Her memoirs are as captivating as her on screen presence.
